The Big6™ Skills Electronic Discussion Group is an Internet-based discussion listserv that facilitates implementation of Big6™ information and technology literacy programs in all educational situations. Started in January 1995, the Big6™ Electronic Discussion Group now has over 1,500 subscribers with interests across the educational spectrum. Some are new to the Big6™ and some have in-depth experience. Group participants share information about successful Big6™ experiences; ask for and provide ideas for lessons and units integrating the Big6™ with subject area curriculum or students’ personal interests; present problems and offer solutions; and discuss broader issues related to the use of information and technology in education.
