Plan – Think about what picture or emotion you want your Jack-O-Lantern to show? (Happy, scary, sad, friendly, decoration?)

Do – Make the face of the Jack-O-Lantern!
• Gather any materials you”ll need. (a fresh pumpkin, newspaper to protect your work area, yarn for hair, a hat, etc.)
• Use a washable marker to design your pumpkin’s face (make sure a grown up helps cut the pumpkin face for you)

• Create the Jack-O-Lantern!

Review – Look at your Jack-O-Lantern.
• Did it turn out well?
• What did you learn?
