Location and Access: Evaluate Sources Early and Often (eNews 10.1, 1)

When working with the Big6™ research process, I have found that it is beneficial for my students and me to insert an evaluation stage in between Big6 3.1, Locate sources and Big6 3.2, Find information within the sources.

Educational Media/Tech Assn (EMTA) Grant for NYS K-12 Educators

The $1000 Media/Technology development grant is for certified teachers in New York State who work with K-12 students on media literacy projects. The grant site defines Media Literacy as the “ability to comprehend, design, and produce media.”
